For a lot less than the price of an R44 you can own a turbine helicopter that is notoriously safe and reliable. Jet Rangers are the "Toyota Corolla" of the sky and more sensible than gumboots for maintenance and reliability with a surplus of parts and support globally. I've completed all the test flying on this ship and it makes 105kts IAS at 70% TQ with full fuel. If you ever need to autorotate there's time to text the wife that you'll be home late for dinner.
