Aircraft Highlights

MI-2AM-1 IS REFURBISHED AND MODIFIED VERSION OF MI-2 HELICOPTER.

The Mi-2AM-1 has deep and sufficient improvements accordingly to the modern requirements and standards. In particular the use of polymer composite materials hull of the helicopter, new digital flight-navigation systems, radio and electrical equipments made total weight of helicopter easier than its predecessor by 400 kg.

Helicopter has latest digital equipment including all control sensors for engine and gearboxes operations. This allowed more efficient control of all systems. Lightweight fuselage design allowed to increase the capacity of the helicopter and improved flight characteristics.

THE MI-2AM-1 HELICOPTER IS CERTIFIED BY THE STATE AVIATION SERVICE OF UKRAINE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES OF PART-21 THAT COMPLIES WITH INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS OF GENERAL AVIATION AND ALLOWS TO GET CERTIFICATION OF THIS HELICOPTER IN ANY COUNTRY OF THE WORLD.

AIRFRAME

The new aerodynamic shape of dome and replacing of glass cockpit windows with use of modern composite materials.

Also, have been redesigned:

- front body element;
 
- section shapes of doorways;
 
- frame;
 
- two spars;
 
- cockpit doors at the right and left.

ENGINES

Two GTD-350 engines
Take off power – 2 х 410* HP;
Fuel consumption – 260 l/h

Assigned resource - 4000 hours;
Resource up to scheduled maintenance - 500 hours or 4 years.

- sensor alarm system for particles in engine oil (for the GTD-350 engine);

- less fuel consumption from 300 to 240 ÷ 260 liters per hour;
- lower t° of exhaust gases on to 40 ÷ 50 С°;
- power of each engine increased from 400 to 410 HP;
- more reliability and work resource.

APU

NEW SYSTEM FOR ENGINE START:
electronic 24 V system for engines start;
system that prevents engines start in the case if the booster fuel pump is turned off or doesn't work.
Refurbishment and modification of all components of the helicopter.
The Мi-2АМ-1 has completely new logbook with the true year of manufacture.
Total Time Since New - accordingly to the made flight hours;
Time Since Overhaul - 0 hours.

Logbooks for engines are original with true year of manufacture.
Total Time Since New - accordingly to the data in the logbook;
Time Since Overhaul - accordingly to the data in the logbook.

Logbooks for main assemblies and units are original for true years of manufacture.
The fulfilled overhaul is mentioned in the logbook of engine, assemblies and units.
Commencement year of operation of the helicopter – 2018.
Year of manufacture of electrical equipment and avionics - 2018.
Production year of the pilot seats - 2018.

- rechargeable batteries 6CT50;
- modern electronic voltage
stabilization unit;
- updated electronic fuse box and
distribution in electrical net;
- all sensors with DC power;
- sensor alarm system for particles in engine oil (for the GTD-350 engine);
- sensor alarm system for particles in the main gearbox VR-2;
- air conditioning system.
The blades of the main and tail rotor are new and made of a composite material. Protection against icing and abrasive wear is implemented by use of special polished forged metal at the edge and coating the surface of the blade with wear-resistant and low adhesion paint cover.
