The transcontinental Challenger 850 is derived from the Bombardier CRJ200 regional airliner. Capable of accommodating 15–19 passengers, the GE CF-34-3B1-powered Challenger 850ER essentially differs from the 850 in that it has an auxiliary fuel tank giving it an extended range.
