Immediately after the war, Cessna designed the Model 190 and 195 which were all-metal high wing four seaters based on the prewar Airmaster. These rugged aircraft with fixed spring-steel tailwheel gear have distinctive Continental or Jacobs radial engines in the 240 to 300 hp class and cabins which are a reminder of American cars of the postwar era.
