The Christen Eagle II is a home build kit aerobatic aircraft that has been produced in the United States since 1977 when it enjoyed it inaugural flight by its creator, Frank Christenson. It was renamed the Aviat Eagle II in the mid-1990s. The Christen Eagle II is a small aircraft with single-bay, equal-span staggered biplane wings braced with streamlined flying and landing wires and a I-strut to form a box truss. The pilot and one passenger sit tandem style underneath a large bubble canopy.
