Slingsby Firefly for Sale

Based on the French-designed Fournier RF-6B, the Firefly is a high performance aerobatic trainer with side-by-side seating and a 200 hp Lycoming AEIO-360 engine. It is built from glass fibre composites with a fixed tricycle undercarriage. Slingsby built just over 100 for commercial customers and 165 for a controversial contract with the US Air Force.

    Review:

Its a nice aircarft that handles well and is ideal for touring-IR equipped and a good aerobatic machine.Burns about 8 gallons per hour.It is also know as the RF6 and it was designed by slingsby and has quiet a large wingspan. It was used as a basic trainer by the RAF in the Uk and I believe also in the USA.aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
