These prices represent the average retail for their respective model years. Individual aircraft may sell above or below the average for their model year, depending on how well maintained they are, whether they include upgrades or retrofits, how many hours remain on the airframe and engines before the next major maintenance event is due, and more. Buyers and sellers will ultimately negotiate a price, taking into account these airplane-specific factors.

  • What competes with the Beechcraft King Air 350i?

There are numerous other turboprop options that operators might consider alongside the Beechcraft King Air 350i, depending on their mission needs. One example is the single-engine Pilatus PC-12 NG, which has a maximum range of 1,845nm and can carry up to ten passengers.

  • What makes the Beechcraft King Air 350i stand out?

  • What is the difference between a Beechcraft King Air 350i and a King Air 360?

The King Air 360 is at the cutting edge of today’s King Air 300-series, and has a similar range and capacity to the King Air 350i, but includes upgrades to the avionics with the addition of the IS&S Thrustsense Autothrottle. It also features upgrades to the digital pressurization system, on-board maintenance system, and includes six new interior schemes.

Beechcraft King Air 350i Turboprop Overview

By Gerrard Cowan - Editor, Aircraft Reviews

The King Air 350i was launched in 2008, updating the company’s largest turboprop with a number of enhancements to deepen its appeal among operators who need more capacity from their aircraft.

The King Air 350i has a maximum range of just over 1,800 nm and is usually laid out in double-club seating for eight passengers, though it can hold up to 11 occupants. It features a Collins Aerospace Pro Line Fusion avionics suite, with full touchscreens for simple in-flight navigation. It is powered by two 1,050 hsp Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-60A engines.

According to JETNET data published in April 2023, 483 King Air 350i models had been produced and delivered to customers around the world.

What features does the Beechcraft King Air 350i offer?

Textron, which now owns the Beechcraft brand, has made a number of improvements to the King Air 350i over the years.

For example, it announced at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in 2018 that an integrated Terrain Awareness and Warning System (iTAWS) would be standard on the aircraft from that point on, as would a multi-scan radar with turbulence detection.

What came before and after the Beechcraft King Air 350i?

The King Air 350i was an improved and enhanced version of the King Air 350, which was itself based on the King Air 300. The King Air 350i offers a greater wingspan and longer fuselage than the King Air 300, with an increase in maximum take-off weight to 15,000lbs.

Today, the King Air 300 brand is represented by the King Air 360, while Textron also offers the smaller King Air 260 and the King Air 360ER (‘ER’ standing for ‘Extended Range’).
