Designed by Reims Aviation in cooperation with Cessna, the Caravan II (or Reims-Cessna F406 as it’s otherwise known) is a twin-engine turboprop manufactured between 1983 and 2013. Utilizing a pair of Pratt & Whitney PT6A-112 powerplants, the Caravan II is designed for the passenger and small cargo transport markets. It can seat up to 12 passengers, and extra cargo capacity can be obtained with the installation of a cargo pod fitted to the belly of the aircraft. The top range is just over 1,300nm.
