Over 800 of the de Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter were built up to 1988 in Canada and it is now built by Viking aircraft. It is a multi-purpose transport for commuter airlines and for utility operations including skydiving. The high-wing Twin Otter, which can carry 19 passengers, has a fixed undercarriage and two 652 shp Pratt & Whitney PT6A-27 engines.
