A four-seat, multi-engine aircraft, the Diamond DA42 TDI incorporates a carbon composite airframe, a fully integrated Garmin G1000 glass flight deck, and twin Centurion 1.7 or 2.0 turbo-diesel engines. Earlier versions were equipped with 135hp 1.7 powerplants, while later models were equipped with the 155hp 2.0 engines.
