Two owners from new. Sold to its first owner factory-new by the UK Piper Distributor in 1998 and to its present Channel Islands based owner in December 2011. Flown only by Instrument Rated Pilots.

Left prop strike December 2012. Left engine shockload inspection (despite the expense, it is always good news to know an engine has been stripped, checked and Returned To Service), plus new propeller to replace the one that was struck.

The right engine has also benefitted from being opened-up and inspected following MIF (May 2013), and was subsequently reinstalled with a fresh Annual signed-off 6/Sept/2013, and RTS a day later after successful test flight. The engine repair was carried out by the same company who originally overhauled the engines (and also the shockload inspection on the left engine), the famous Nicholson McLaren.
