In mid-2016, Pilatus was also recognized for its customer service, being rated first for the 15th consecutive year by owners and operators in an annual survey conducted by Professional Pilot magazine.

Ignar Gretener, Vice President of Pilatus Aircraft Ltd’s General Aviation business unit said:

“The entire Pilatus team, from engineering to manufacturing to sales and service worked hard this year to achieve these successes in a very challenging market…We are honoured that our customers continue to put their trust in us, and we will never take that for granted.”

New features in the 2016 PC-12 NG included increased cruise speed (to 285 KTAS), reduced cabin noise levels, updated interior design options, and more than a dozen drag reduction changes to the airframe. In mid-2017, Pilatus anticipates delivering the 1,500th PC-12.

Meanwhile, the third and final Pilatus PC-24 prototype, P03, which also represents the series aircraft standard, took off from Buochs airfield for maiden flight recently. The eye-catching blue Super Versatile Jet flew across central Switzerland for two hours and five minutes. Certification and delivers of the PC-24 could occur towards the end of this year.
