General Aviation was established as Turkey’s first private aircraft charter company in 1981 with a Cessna 310 and Piper Navajo. Later in 1985 company extended its flight operations with Bell 206 helicopters.
During the last 30 years, General Aviation offered flight services to its customers with Bell 206 and Bell 407 helicopters; Lockheed Jetstars, HFB320 Hansa Jets, Gulfstream G450 and Eclipse 500s.
In addition to charter services, General Aviation extended its services to fixed and rotary wing line and base maintenance, hangaring, handling and FBO services.
Today General Aviation is the largest company in its region in terms of maintenance and hangarage capability as well as specialized FBO services on both airports in Istanbul area.
