The Polish company, PZL Mielec built the M.20 Mewa light twin for several years in the 1970s. It is a licence-built version of the Piper PA-34 Seneca II powered by a pair of 220 hp PZL-built Franklin 6A-350-C engines. The Mewa was mainly used in Poland for medical transport but, like the Seneca, it has a separate rear cabin for four passengers.
