An upgrade on the Citation II, the 1,718nm-range Cessna Citation SII incorporated JT15D-4B engines adding thrust at higher altitudes, while fuel capacity also increased. Typically configured for seven, the SII initially was to replace the II, but the II continued simultaneous production until eventually being replaced by the V.
