The Gulfstream GV was one of the first ultra-long range business jets ever produced, boasting a 6,500nm maximum range. Capable of carrying up to 16 passengers in standard seating configuration, BR710-A1-10 powerplants were chosen for the GV, helping it travel its missions quicker than any of Gulfstream's preceding models.

By Matt Harris - Editor, AvBuyer magazine
The Gulfstream GV is a Large Jet that typically seats 13 passengers. It was produced between 1995 and 2002 (aircraft built between 2003 and 2004 were Gulfstream G500s – old model). According to JETNET, Gulfstream built 193 GVs through to 2002. Aircraft Bluebook’s Spring 2023 price data shows the average GV price ranges from approximately $9m (for a 1995 model) up to $12.50m (2002 model).
What makes the GV stand out?
The GV holds the distinction of being the first purpose-built ultra-long-range business jet when it arrived on the market in 1995. Offering a range of 6,500nm and powered by a pair of Rolls-Royce BR710-A1-10 engines, the Gulfstream GV offers good fuel efficiency compared to similar aged jets in its category.
Fabrizio Poli, Executive Chairman and CEO of Ecosystem Aerospace informs us in this video of the differences between the G5, G500 and G550. He also delves into whether purchasing a pre-owned or a new jet is a better investment.
