Gulfstream GV Jet Snapshot

By Matt Harris - Editor, AvBuyer magazine

The Gulfstream GV is a Large Jet that typically seats 13 passengers. It was produced between 1995 and 2002 (aircraft built between 2003 and 2004 were Gulfstream G500s – old model). According to JETNET, Gulfstream built 193 GVs through to 2002. Aircraft Bluebook’s Autumn 2021 price data shows the average GV price ranges from approximately $5.5m (for a 1995 model) up to $9.0m (2002 model).

What makes the GV stand out?

The GV holds the distinction of being the first purpose-built ultra-long-range business jet when it arrived on the market in 1995. Offering a range of 6,500nm and powered by a pair of Rolls-Royce BR710-A1-10 engines, the Gulfstream GV offers good fuel efficiency compared to similar aged jets in its category.
