The Bombardier Challenger 605 is a large-cabin business jet. As the fourth incarnation of the original Challenger 600 model, the Challenger 605 was introduced to the market in 2007 as an upgrade on the Challenger 604 and was replaced by the Challenger 650 on Bombardier’s production line in 2015.

While it retains the GE CF34-3B powerplants and range capability of its predecessor, the Challenger 605 offers passengers the luxury of larger cabin windows (equating to a lighter cabin environment), and the cockpit was updated with Collins Aerospace's Pro Line 21 avionics with electronic flight bag capability.

The AvBuyer Opinion: With almost 300 units sold between 2007 and 2015, Bombardier clearly hit a sweet spot in the market with the spacious cabin, competitive operating costs and range, and notable reliability of the Challenger 605. Today, the CL605 continues to attract interest in the pre-owned market.
