TrakkaBeam A800 Tactical Searchlight
In 2011 Trakka launched its innovative technology into the airborne searchlight market. Today, the TrakkaBeam A800 searchlight is the market leader with its superior performance, efficiency and multi-mission capability. It is the preferred choice of aircraft OEMs and users alike.
The TrakkaBeam A800 is a fully automated multi-mission searchlight that includes an integrated filter wheel, slews at 0-60 degrees per second elevation or azimuth and can be easily installed on new or existing searchlight mounts. It is the ideal workhorse for airborne surveillance, SAR, CSAR, police operations, covert security missions and EMS.
Trakka’s A800 system has been rigorously tested and certified to DO-160F standards by internationally recognised laboratories in the U.S., Germany and Australia.
Designed to ensure trouble-free operation from installation through the life of the system, critical tests for product robustness and reliability are undertaken including lightning strike, vibration, AF and RF susceptibility, EMI and EMC.

TrakkaCam TC-300 Gyro Stabilised Multi-Spectral Sensor
Not content with setting new standards in the searchlight business, at the end of 2015 Trakka Systems acquired Swesystems AB, a manufacturer of non-ITAR gyrostabilised camera systems.
This married the expertise of Trakka’s founders — who had originally successfully built up Gyrocam as the premier supplier of camera systems for land vehicles to the U.S. Department of Defense from 2003 to 2009 before selling to Lockheed Martin — with the camera technology capability of Swesystems.
The group was then rebranded as Trakka Systems, with its innovative new TC-300 surveillance camera.
The TC-300 is the first new product in the TrakkaCam line. It is a single-line replaceable unit (LRU) systems that comprises an innovative, lightweight 300-millmeter (11.8-inch) gimbal and has a total mass of less than 19 kilograms (42 pounds).
It features a high performance, fully digital 4-axis gyro-stabilisation and payload suite with a medium wavelength, infrared (MWIR) thermal imager with continuous zoom, color HDTV with continuous zoom and various laser sensor.
Trakka’s TC-300 also has a fully integrated inertial measurement unit/global positioning system and an advanced high-definition video engine with several features, including automatic target tracking, image blending, and haze reduction.
The TrakkaCam line is exempt from International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), making it widely exportable to countries around the world.
Trakka’s Integrated Optronic Solutions (IOS) are a family of high performance, integrated vision-enabling solutions built around Trakka’s gyrostabilised camera systems. They are specifically designed for integration into armored vehicles, and have been developed for advanced situational awareness, route clearance and IED detection capabilities.
Trakka’s IOS provide a decisive tactical advantage by delivering safe and superior stand-off ISR capability for the APC crew from within the vehicle, whether static or on the move.
Trakka IOS can be integrated with advanced complementary detection systems using adjunct technologies including ground-based radar, electronic warfare, acoustics and unattended ground sensors. This provides full multispectral situational awareness which can be combined with command & control systems plus appropriate communications and effectors to manage the threat environment.
TrakkaMaps TM-100 Augmented Reality Mission Management Software
In 2016 Trakka developed the TrakkaMaps TM-100 Moving Maps & Video Management System. TrakkaMaps brings a new solution to mission management, and is designed to perfectly complement Trakka’s range of sophisticated searchlights and camera systems.
TrakkaMaps TM-100 provides a mission management solution which is costeffective and affordable, while providing full-featured mapping and post-mission processing, while the mapping system is easily customised and easy to use.
Trakka’s TM-100 can run on various computer platforms, ranging from notebooks to ruggedised laptops. The flexible architecture is easily customisable with both open source databases and user proprietary secure databases.
Designed to integrate with TrakkaCam cameras, the TM-100 can slew the camera line-of-sight to any point on the map, via pin touch, address, intersection, city, points of interest or coordinate entries. The TM-100 offers 3D, street, satellite and custom map views, available with augmented reality overlays on live video imagery. The user can effortlessly select between picture-in-picture, split screen, map-only or video-only viewing modes.
The camera’s fields-of-view polygons are painted on the map, and aircraft markers are dropped on the map to document where the camera has searched and where the aircraft has flown.
Speed modes are available to estimate ground track speeds and mission recording is accomplished via metadata streamed over an Ethernet connection to the Trakka camera system.
