The aircraft is perfect. It looks great, it flies great, cost per hour is great it is especially good for cruise- economy- comfort but the only thing it is lacking is speed at cruise.

A nice aircraft to fly- modern- TDI version uses only 5 USG/Hr of Jet A-1- this keeps costs down. Easy to land. Nice over all.

    Review:

I used to fly the DA 40 since my pilot education. The change from the DV 20 Katana to the bigger DA 40 was very easy- because the behavior was quite similar. We mainly use it as a travel aircraft. Therefore it is comfortable- fast and the costs are normal. I really love to fly the DA 40- the feeling by fling it first was like to sit in an airliner. A stabile and relaxed flight. Also for Passengers it’s good to handle- especially the door for the rear seats make the boarding easy. But the DA 40 is not as easy to fly as a Cessna. Our one is equipped with an Engine with full injection which is a bit more complicated as a standard one. All in all the aircraft is a very nice travel aircraft- which is good of nature and after a little training every pilot could handle it.
