The PA-28 Cherokee is the world's most popular low-wing light aircraftand many continue in service. It has a straight "Mars Bar" wing and a sturdy wide track undercarriage. The four-seat Cherokee 150 and 160 first appeared in 1961 powered by the Lycoming O-320 engine and the 1964 Cherokee C has extra rear legroom and slightly better performance.
