There was a left prop strike on 31 July 2016. It was on an approach to Scilly Isles. A gusting crosswind resulted in a strike of the left prop. The engine was then Shockload Inspected by Nicholson McLaren and the prop replaced. Release form on file.
There was then a similar event on 09/Aug/2018 at Newquay Airport; right prop strike and the right engine will have a Shockload Inspection at GAMA, plus the right propeller will be overhauled by Brinkleys and receive new blades. Return to Service is expected by the end of Sept/2018 or first week in October.
The right engine suffered a valve/cylinder failure in 2017 and Flugmotoren-Reparatur in Munich, Germany, repaired it. Release form on file.
