Piper's elegant PA-24 Comanche was modified with two engines as the PA-30 Twin Comanche and produced from 1963 to 1972, later aircraft being the PA-39 with 160 hp counter-rotating L/IO-320s. It is a four-seater but with two rear optional family seats and extra windows on the Comanche B. As a fast and comfortable private aircraft that is hard to beat.
