CESSNA Unveils New Corvalis TT

Cessna revealed its latest piston single - the Corvalis TTx - at the end of March- during the Sun ’n Fun in Lakeland- Florida- USA. The TTx is an upgraded version of the Corvalis TT- and its main additional feature is Garmin’s newly-introduced G2000 in a package that Cessna is calling its Intrinzic Flight Deck.

The G2000- which has two 14.1-inch high definition flat-screen displays- comes with a center-console-mounted Garmin GTC 570 touchscreen controller- Garmin’s GFC 700 autopilot and flight control system- and electronic stability and protection (ESP) to guard against airspeed excursions and other loss-of-control situations. L-3 Communications’ Trilogy electronic standby instrument system is another element of the Intrinzic suite- which is standard in the TTx. Garmin’s SafeTaxi and FliteChart electronic charts also will come standard- and Jeppesen’s ChartView electronic charts are available as an option.

Also new with the TTx are: Removable rear seats- leather seat coverings of the same kind used in Cessna’s Citations- new paint schemes- and a five-year warranty on the engine- avionics- and airframe. Previous warranty periods were one year for the Continental TSIO-550 engine- two years for the TT’s G1000 avionics- and one year for the TT airframe. The TTx- which is priced at $799-950- retains the same 310-hp engine as the TT- and Cessna says the performance numbers are the same:

A max cruise speed of 235 KTAS- a max range of 1-250 nm- and a ceiling of 25-000 feet.

TECNAM’s First P2006T Twin for Air Global Hungary

Tecnam recently appointed 50th dealer Hungary’s Air Global today received its first Tecnam P2006T twin. The 1st Hungarian Tecnam P2006T twin- registered HA-TEC was collected from Tecnam’s Capua production facility- in Italy by András Schneider- Air Global’s CEO and flown direct to Gyor-Per Airport in Hungary.

'We were off course very delighted to be selected as Tecnam exclusive dealer for Hungary last year- especially as we were Tecnam’s milestone 50th worldwide dealer’’ said András Schneider- CEO of Air Global. ‘’However now that we have collected our first Tecnam P2006T twin- we now have in our possession a Tecnam demonstrator that we can promote to a very robust Hungarian General Aviation market’’.

First Tecnam P2006T twin delivered to AEROS Flight Training
AEROS recently received the first of a potential five Tecnam P2006T twins John Hartill- Chief Flying Instructor of Airways Aero Associations Ltd- the exclusive UK and Ireland dealer for certified Tecnam aeroplanes- flew the new twin registered G-TEKK- direct to Aeros Gloucester flight training centre.
