HONEYWELL MCS - 7120 (TWO CLASSIC CHANNELS + SBB) (REV. 7)
The system provides the capability to access Inmarsat satellite voice, fax and data communications services. It provides one channel of Classic Aero H+ voice, one channel of Classic packet data for the flight deck and one Swift Broadband channel for the cabin. The Swift Broadband channel provides an internet link through background services (data rate up to 432 kbps shared between all users in the same spot beam). It also provides via Circuit services either one Low Cost Voice channel or 64 kbps circuit (ISDN phone, Fax) .
Quality of Service streaming internet (email, high quality internet, VoIP ; for email and high quality internet, QoS cannot be used simultaneously with background services).
Handsets will provide voice capability for Low Cost Voice and VolP.
