Developed by Diamond Aircraft, the Diamond DA42 Twin Star is a twin-engine, four seat piston aircraft. Since first being introduced to the market in 2002, the model has received a number of upgrades - the most recent coming in 2012 as the DA42 VI. The DA42 VI incorporates a new propeller and refinements to its aerodynamics, as reflected in the rudder and engine cowling. The result is an improvement in cruise speed.
